Pigeons like to Roost on: Signs, Building Entrances, Awnings, Eaves, Balconies, At all Roof Edges, Ridge Caps, Soffits, Roof Tops/Peaks and under Down Spouts.

Are Pigeon(s) and/or Pigeon Poop dangerous?

Pigeons like other Birds carry Little Mites that look like pepper. If Pigeons have been nesting in a certain area for any length of time those little Mites will spread out. You’ll have a bite but not see anything there those are mite bites. Mites can be annoying be not fatal.
Pigeon Fecies/Poop Destroys the finish and paint job on cars and trucks.
Pigeon Poop/Fecies contains a Mold that causes Histoplasmosis which can be very dangerous and even fatal.

How does AAA Wild animal Removal get rid of Pigeons?

There are a number of different ways of removing Pigeons:

If Pigeons are sitting at/on the Signs, Building Entrances, Awnings, Eaves, Balconies, At all Roof Edges, Ridge Caps, Soffits, Roof Tops/Peaks and under Down Spouts then we would probably use Bird Spikes to keep the Pigeons from landing there. It doesn’t hurt the Pigeon it just pricks them when they try to land, the Pigeons get discouraged and leave, hopefully.
Under Down Spouts the Pigeons can roost more aggressively as it’s a good Spot. In those cases we would clean(power wash the area) and mesh it so they can’t get under it to Roost.
Pigeons and Apartment Buildings go together like Peanut Butter and Jam. Pigeons LOVE apartment buildings.
First we will try a temporary birds screen that we will attach to the balcony to enclose it. It’s made of volleyball net material. So you can still use you balcony but the Pigeons can’t. Be Careful!!! ****Don’t try do this your self as if you do it wrong, you’ll wakeup in the morning and go to go out on your balcony to find you’ve made a Pigeon Coop/Roost. Instead of getting rid of the Pigeons properly you’ve left gaps where the pigeons were able to get in through.
Usually The screen only needs to be on for a few weeks till the Pigeons get the hint that they aren’t welcome on your balcony.
We can make permanent screens for the apartment buildings that have had a Pigeon Problem for a while. Place(s) where the Pigeon(s) have been born there. Usually The Main Pigeon Roost/Coop is on the Apartment Building’s Roof.
If Pigeons are Nesting on the Roof they are probably using he area where the Air Conditioner is attached to the ventilation system of the building
Pigeons that have been on the building’s roof for a length of time will start migrating down through the floors of balconies. As more Pigeons are born/hatched, more balconies will be filled. VERY SERIOUS PIGEON PROBLEM for this situation we need to set Pigeon Traps on the Roof near where they are nesting. The traps hold 50 Pigeons at a time. Roosts on the tops of Apartment Buildings can have over a 1000 Pigeons or more! We will set 1 to 4 traps depending on the density of the Population of Pigeons. We will check the traps daily. *** We can’t guarantee how many pigeons will go in the traps or how long it will take to get rid of them. As a rule we usually get 15-45 Pigeons per trap. The traps are live traps that in NO WAY hurt the Pigeons. The Pigeons are then Relocated to Proper Pigeon Coops.
As Well as Live trapping in Large Pigeon Situations we would do all of the above;

• Live Trap and Remove Pigeons,

• Remove Roosting Area.

• Mesh around all open areas of the Roof,

• especially around the Air Conditioning Unit, Balcony, Down Spouts. All and any Pigeon Entry Points.

• Put Pigeon/Bird Spikes where necessary; around sign, roof and building edges, awnings, and eaves.

• Pigeon Nest Removal From around Business signs: Requires that we use both Pigeon/Bird Spikes and meshing of any open areas.
